Police have charged a man over the alleged driving-related death of a five-year-old boy on a private property north of Brisbane.

Jack Brown died after being hit by a car on Gilliland Crescent, Blackbutt North on Monday July 3 2023.

Rafael-Eban Mostyn Solomon, 44, faced Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death.

Solomon was charged last month by way of a notice to appear in court.

The matter was adjourned to Monday.

Solomon remains on bail.
