She’s an animal lover, pole-dances a couple of times a week and is one of Australia’s foremost athletes. At 14, Brisbane swimmer Emily Seebohm was making podium finishes before picking up gold at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. After winning two relay gold medals and an individual silver at the Pan Pacific Championships in Tokyo last month, Seebohm has her sights on the FINA World Cup in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, and Budapest, Hungary, in the coming months before the World Short Course Championships in December. Despite making headlines for her public break-up with fellow swimmer Mitch Larkin, the former Australian Swimmer of the Year is ready to shift the focus back onto the sport she loves.
