Nothing has blown up social media more this year than the cookies at this tiny Brisbane bakehouse. Owner Brooke Saward’s sensational New York-style baked bites have amassed almost 500,000 followers on Instagram and a whopping 1.7m on TikTok. And with good reason – these are some of the best cookies you’ll ever eat. The classic NYC with walnuts and choc chips will always be a winner, but for true decadence, choose the almond croissant version.

Teaffee’s signature parfait is what Instagram dreams are made of. Featuring matcha milk tea, jelly, strawberries, mochi, soft serve and a macaron on top for good measure, it’s a work of art in a glass from this fun Asian dessert shop.

We’ve all been captivated by the wobbly Japanese souffle pancakes that jiggle like a laughing Santa belly, but this Southport cafe has taken the foodie favourite up a notch.
