THE LNP has asked the Speaker to refer Jackie Trad to the Ethics Committee, alleging she misled parliament about when she found out about the controversial Woolloongabba property purchase.
Ms Trad last week conceded she was six weeks late in formally finalising the declaration of the Abingdon Street home, after having said last year she found out about it on March 29 via a text message from her husband.

She formally declared it on July 17, 2019.
But the former deputy premier said the purchase of the house was required to be disclosed in late May - after the settlement - however occurred in mid-July.
“It’s extraordinary that the LNP can only focused on muck-racking at a time when Queenslanders need all policy makers focused on them, their jobs and our state’s economic recovery,” she said.
The LNP alleged the South Brisbane MP had changed her story, last week implying that her husband informed her about the purchase about June 6 last year.
It followed a question from Deputy Opposition Leader Tim Mander in parliament on September 17 last year when he asked whether Ms Trad stood by her statement that the first time her husband informed her was by a text message two days after he had signed the contract.
“I made my remarks truthfully and honestly. I stand by them,” Ms Trad said in response.
