Tigers supporters posted on Facebook that Mr Conwell was “the loveliest bloke; always had a smile on his face and incredible generosity in his heart” and he was “so kind, funny and witty with a huge kindness and zest for life”, and that his death was “an absolute shock” and “terrible loss”.
