Question Time blog: Cross River Rail blows out by another $2bn
The Cross River Rail project has blown out again, now costing four times what Annastacia Palaszczuk first promised a decade ago.
The state government is expected to be grilled on the error in crime victim data released by Queensland Police Service earlier this month.
Commissioner Steve Gollschewski said the wiping of 4241 victims was a human coding error, but Opposition Leader Steven Miles claimed Police Minister Dan Purdie and Premier David Crisafulli were “fiddling with the figures”.
Mr Purdie said his office queried the data discrepancy on October 7 but was assured by police it was accurate.
