Question Time live: Premier David Crisafulli to reveal new youth crime laws
Labor frontbencher Grace Grace has accused Jarrod Bleijie of making several comments she claims were threatening.
Every youth offender granted bail could have a GPS monitor strapped to their ankle under sweeping reforms to reduce crime.
Premier David Crisafulli revealed new laws would be introduced to parliament this week to expand the eligibility for GPS tracking to cover any offender aged 10 to 17 granted bail.
Under existing laws a GPS tracker can only be fitted to a youth offender who committed two serious offences.
Mr Crisafulli said new laws would give courts the discretion to order GPS devices for first-time offenders if it was deemed necessary for community safety.
