Question Time live blog: Several MPs booted from parliament during fiery sitting

A fiery question time has come to an end with several MPs ejected from the chamber for interjecting, including one for the whole day.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has been grilled in parliament over whether her "delay" in getting the Covid jab had contributed to vaccine hesitancy in Queensland during a fiery question time.

 

During the heated exchange, Ms Palaszczuk responded to interjections from the Opposition by saying "There's no need to channel Campbell Newman in this House".

It was one of a number of fiery exchanges that saw several MPs ejected from the chamber, including James Lister – who was booted for the whole day.

Mr Lister had been warned by Speaker Curtis Pitt before he was told to leave.

It is not common for an MP to be booted for an entire day.
