Government ministers Amanda Camm and Tim Mander have revealed they are in a relationship.
Ms Camm, 46, is the Minister for Families, Seniors and Disability Services and Minister for Child Safety and the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence, while Mr Mander, 63, is minister for Sport, Racing, Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The pair sought advice from the Queensland Integrity Commissioner and it is understood their relationship was revealed to ministerial colleagues at Monday’s Cabinet meeting.
It is understood the pair have been seeing each other for some time and a government source said “all appropriate declarations” have been made.
Ms Camm has represented the Whitsunday electorate since 2020 while Mr Mander – a former NRL referee – was elected to the city-based electorate of Everton in Campbell Newman’s 2012 landslide.
Mr Mander separated from his wife earlier this year.
His parliamentary biography notes he was named Queensland father of the year in 2005 and has four children.
They are the latest couple in the Queensland ministerial ranks after Labor MPs Meaghan Scanlon and Mark Bailey.
