Police investigating a fatal collision between a road train and ute that killed a woman and teenage boy want to speak to two potential witnesses.

The crash 26km west of Cloncurry on December 28 killed 44-year-old Naomi Kokkinos and a 17-year-old boy.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward, particularly two women who were travelling in a small white car in the area at the time.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and is appealing for anyone with information to make contact.
