Footage obtained by Seven News Queensland, shows a man holding the shotgun and knocking at the door of the home.

Audio was captured of the man swearing at the occupants, requesting them to come out and threatening to smash their windows, before he left the scene.

Several hours later, the occupants of the dwelling found their Mitsubishi Triton covered in bullet holes.

A female resident of the dwelling told Seven News that the shocking incident left her worried.

“You still worry about what you know could happen,” she said.

“Because obviously when someone’s got a gun like you know that’s your life being threatened.”
