FINKS bikie gang members have turned out in force for the funeral of a life member – and so have police.
Some tattooed members roared into Allambe Memorial Park at Nerang on motorbikes for the funeral of life member Les ‘Grumpy’ Sharman, with others arriving by car.

There were no visible gang colours – which are banned under Queensland’s bikie laws – except on Mr Sharman’s casket which had ‘Finks M.C’ emblazoned on the side along with the club’s logo, Bung the court jester, from the Wizard of Id cartoon.
Some of the bikies wore masks while one even sported a ‘Christian Bikers’ leather vest.
Dozens of police, including officers from the Taskforce Maxima anti-bikie squad, massed outside Carrara Stadium to conduct checks of mourners leaving the funeral.
Police also videoed the departing mourners on their way to Mr Sharman’s wake to gather intelligence.
Before the funeral, police said they would treat the bikies respectfully and allow them to ‘bury one of their own’ in peace but would not tolerate breaches of the law.
Mr Sharman, 60, was killed when his car rolled multiple times in the Numinbah Valley on November 30.
