Police allege four people assaulted a man after altercation over stolen goods
Police have charged four people, including two teens, who they allege assaulted a man in South Brisbane after he confronted them about stolen goods from a nearby business

Four people have been charged following investigations into an alleged assault of a man in South Brisbane on Wednesday night
Police allege a 36-year-old Rochedale South man was on Little Stanley Street at 11pm when he noticed a group of people in possession of property believed to be from a nearby business.
The 36-year-old asked them to return the property and a verbal altercation escalated when the group allegedly punched the man and one person hit him with a metal pole.
The group fled on foot and police responded a short time later, arresting a man, a woman and two teens with the assistance of CCTV and Southbank Security Officers.
The 36-year-old was transported to hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening cuts and bruises.
A 25-year-old Fortitude Valley man, a 19-year-old Albion woman and a 17-year-old girl have been charged with one count each of assault occasioning bodily harm while armed and in company.
The man and woman will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court Thursday and the teen will appear in the Brisbane Childrens Court.
The second teen was released without charge and investigations are ongoing.
