A teen is fighting for life after the car he was in rolled over in a serious crash near a Brisbane school.

A teen is fighting for life after the car he was in rolled over in a serious crash in Brisbane.

A tyre and door were launched through the air and landed near the shared driveway of a Brisbane school after a high-impact crash at Pinjarra Hills on Wednesday.

Images and video shared by witnesses near the scene of the crash on Moggill Rd show a tyre and door metres away from the wreck of the vehicle.

Brisbane Independent School Principal Lachlyn Bowie said the school community was saddened by the condition of the teen driver involved in the crash.

“On behalf of Brisbane Independent School – our staff, students, and families – I want to extend our heartfelt concern and support to anyone affected by [the] serious accident on Moggill Road, at our shared driveway and turn off,” she said.

‘The news of the critically injured teenager and others involved has deeply saddened us, and we are hoping for the young man’s recovery and healing for all those injured.

“If the drivers or passengers were connected to anyone in our close-knit valley, or if the accident occurred as they were turning into our shared driveway, please know that we are here to offer whatever support we can during this difficult time.”
