A girl in her mid-teens suffered head injuries after being struck by a vehicle in what police had described as a “serious” crash in Logan.

A girl in her mid-teens suffered head injuries after being struck by a vehicle in what police had described as a “serious” crash in Logan.
Emergency services were called to Julia Street in Crestmead just after 8am Tuesday to reports of a pedestrian and vehicle collision.
It is understood the girl had walked off a bus when she was struck by the vehicle.
The incident occurred outside of Kensington Fair shopping centre.
A Queensland Ambulance Services spokeswoman said the High Acuity Response team were on the scene but did not board the ambulance with the girl.
No one else was injured or treated at the scene.
The girl was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital and remains in a stable condition. She suffered head injuries and abrasions.
A Queensland Police Services spokeswoman said the scene was cleared by 9am.
