Teenager hit by ute and killed in Springfield Central
A 13-year-old boy was attempting to cross a busy southeast Queensland street on his scooter when he was tragically hit by a ute and killed.

A TEENAGE boy has been hit and killed by a ute while riding his scooter on a busy southeast Queensland road on Friday.
The incident occurred about 3.26pm in Springfield Central on Sinnathamby Blvd, near the Paul Pisasale Bridge.
Emergency services rendered first aid to the boy but he sadly died at the scene a short time later.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
