The owner of a lavish Indooroopilly home valued at over $22m has revealed the secret behind his success and the unusual way he forged a path to financial freedom.
In an interview with Getahead, a Brisbane based job seeking app, entrepreneur Emil Juresic was asked to reveal how he managed to purchase his spacious villa.
The home features a gym, steam room, ice bath and sauna, with luxe floor-to-ceiling windows and stone pavement at a combined valued of more than $2m.
Rather than working with a singular mentor, he credits his lucrative property portfolio and success in life, to small lessons he learns from every person he meets.
“Whoever you meet every single day, even if you’re talking to somebody who’s not a good person, what can you learn from him or her or how not to be like them,” he said.
“So to me, (my) mentor is every person that I meet on daily basis.”
When asked about the value of his home, Mr. Juresic admitted that he wasn’t completely sure what it would be in the current market.
“We have knocked back offers of $22m, so north of that,” he said.
“We’ll never sell it, this is a dream home.”
Describing investing as his key strategy, he said his primary focus was investing in real estate.
“I barely finished grade 12. I’m definitely not as educated as some people are,” he said.
“One thing they’re gonna get out of (university) is discipline. They have to go, start something, and finish it.
“Everything I’ve made so far has been from crazy hard work.”
