Shark Attack Season: Should Australia be shark culling?

BRAVE little Hannah Papps is now in a stable condition at the Queensland Children’s Hospital ten days after a shark attack at the Whitsundays.

The 12-year-old girl from Melbourne was in a critical condition when she suffered a severe bit to the upper leg while swimming in Cid Harbour with her father and sister on Thursday 20 September.

A Queensland Children’s Hospital spokesman confirmed the clinical team have revised her condition to “stable.”

Hannah Papps was bitten less than 24 hours after Tasmanian mum Justine Barwick also suffered bite from a shark in the same area.

The 46-year-old released a statement expressing her desire to get back to helping her work colleagues in Tasmania as soon as possible.

“I am learning to walk again but there are many hours of physio and occupational therapy sessions in my future,” she said in a statement released Friday.

“I think I am up to the task!”
