One Nation’s state headquarters in Eagle Farm have been evacuated after a letter containing white powder was sent to the office.
All staff were evacuated to another level in the building as emergency services investigated.
It’s understood one staffer who opened a handwritten letter containing the powder was shaken by the incident but was “holding up OK”.
One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson was not in the building when the letter was opened.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman confirmed specialist officers were at the scene, investigating a suspicious package.
Investigators have completed on-site testing including collecting samples from the letterbox.
It’s understood the testing has not identified any concerning chemicals and staff have been cleared to return to the office.
