Child injured after being hit by car south of Brisbane
A child has been injured in a vehicle and pedestrian collision incident south of Brisbane near a school.

A child has been injured after they were hit by a car near a school south of Brisbane on Wednesday.
Emergency services attended Paradise Road in Slacks Creek around 4.50pm where a female was being treated for leg injuries.

The incident occurred on the same street as Mabel Park State School.
Critical care and high acuity response paramedics attended the scene and took the girl to the Queensland Children’s Hospital.
Police have warned of traffic delays in the area.
