Former NRL star Corey Norman is loved up with a new girlfriend and it seems she previously dated his close mate.
The 30-year-old went Insta-official with influencer model Nicole Shiraz this week, with the couple celebrating New Year’s Eve together.
In images shared on both of their social media accounts, the couple appear close and, in one shot, they are sharing a smooch.
Friends congratulated the pair in the many comments on the post, with one joking: “Taken till retirement to get a women (sic)”.
Shiraz was previously rumoured to have dated Norman’s friend, NRL player Bryce Cartwright.
She has also been romantically linked to Penrith Panthers star Nathan Cleary, as well as American basketballer Kyle Kuzma, Married At First Sight reality contestant Eden Dally and rugby union footballer Quade Cooper.
In 2019, when asked about her love life on social media, Shiraz commented: “I know in the past I’ve been more open with my relationships and have shared pics/videos with you all, but I’m a lot more private about my love life. Just something I prefer.”
Norman meanwhile retired from the sport last year after 228 games across 12 NRL seasons.
He made his first-grade start with the Brisbane Broncos in 2010 before moving to the Parramatta Eels and finishing up with St George Illawarra.
“Yeah I was just like na I’m not even keen to play anymore hey,” Norman said on yktr.sports last month, announcing his retirement.
“I was just over it so I thought just call it a day. It was good bro, it was mad. Best rollercoaster ever … 11 years ups and downs, the boys; the memories.”
In 2016, when playing for the Eels, reports suggested a sex tape involving Norman was being shopped around to media with an asking price of $150,000.
