Noosa’s cultural pulse is back and beating strong as a three-day festival kicks off to entertain locals and visitors.
Noosa Alive! president Andrew Squires said Thursday’s opening performance at Reignite 2021 was a French-inspired night of fine food, wine and music at Noosa Springs from 6pm.

This will be followed by Spanish-themed food, wine and dance on Friday night.
Mr Squires said Reignite was a mini-festival program which this year served as a precursor to the annual 10-day Noosa alive! festival scheduled for July 15 – 24.
“After the challenges and restrictions of COVID over the past year and the cancelling of events, it is genuinely exciting to again be presenting a program of live performances here on the Sunshine Coast,” Mr Squires said.
He said the literary highlight of the festival was Friday’s sold-out Noosa Boathouse dinner and conversation night with Boy Swallows Universe author Trent Dalton.
“For outdoor event festival fun, there’s the Sunshine Festival which is taking place this Saturday from midday til 4pm at the Noosa Dolphins Rugby Union Club,” Mr Squires said.
“It’s a chance to soak up some great live music and entertainment from artists Mason Hope, Lizzy Lamborn and Nyssa Ray.”
Activities on offer include an inflatable obstacle course, face painting, street performers and food vans on-site catering from 6pm until 10pm when the festival morphs into Sunset Vibes concert featuring OKA, Bobby Alu and The Lyrical.
“These artists and their beats bring the ultimate Sunny Coast sound, and what will be stellar outdoor music experience,” Mr Squires said.
There are all ticketed events requiring COVID registration and tickets will be available at the gate for the Saturday entertainment. For more information visit www.noosaalive.com.au.
