Developer Stockwell is building the 23- and 27-storey towers to appeal to the increasingly important owner-occupier market.

“The apartment mix will primarily comprise larger style apartments, targeted at those downsizing from large family homes but still wishing to be able to welcome children, grandchildren and extended family into the home,” the development application said.

Apartments will have between two and five bedrooms.

There will be 815 sqm of retail space on the podium levels, which will be restaurants, bars, cafes or shops.

“This will contribute to the continued revitalisation of Fish Lane,” it said.

The application is the latest in a string of major projects proposed and underway in South Brisbane and West End.
