Police have called off a search near Nudgee Creek for a Brisbane mother-of-three who has not been seen for more than a week.

Police divers completed the search of the area late on Wednesday afternoon.

There are no further searches scheduled for the area, a police spokesman said.

Police are strongly appealing to the public for information.

EARLIER: Police divers and the homicide squad have joined in the search for a Brisbane mother-of-three who hasn’t been seen since leaving her Capalaba home more than a week ago.

Natarn Auld, 38, left her home in Mount Cotton Road in Brisbane’s south, telling a friend she was going to buy cigarette papers about 3am on December 14.

But investigators said they had established she then travelled to the Banyo or Northgate area.

Detective Inspector Steve Hollands said police had serious concerns about her disappearance, with police and SES searches in bushland in an industrial area at Nudgee. Divers have searched Nudgee Creek.

Ms Auld was earlier seen on CCTV about 11.40pm on December 13 when she went to a BP service station on Redland Bay Rd at Capalaba and bought food.

Natarn Auld went missing from Capalaba last week.

She was with a man, a friend, at the time and was wearing long grey pants, a jumper, thongs and a gold necklace.

“He took her to the service station and he then took her from the service station to her home address,” Insp Hollands said.

“That’s where they separated.

“He went and did some other inquiries and she was left at home alone.

“He has spoken to us on a number of occasions and provided a statement.”

Ms Auld’s bank account and phone have not been used and she has not been in contact with any friends or associates since she disappeared.

The mother-of-three had missed appointments with her mother and children twice in the last week which was out of character. Ms Auld has three children aged four, 15 and 21.

Her mother reported her missing.
“We’re very concerned for her safety, we’re not speculating on whether she may have been killed,” Insp Hollands said.
Insp Hollands said police were still investigating how Ms Auld got to Brisbane’s northside but could not find any ride-sharing trips she had taken.
“She may have some associates here but, no, I’m not aware of any family or friends or any connection with her and the northside of Brisbane.

“The last contact that she had was with an associate in the early hours … where she indicated she was off to buy some cigarette papers, we don’t know where she was going to do that, that was about 3am.”

Police plan to conduct a forensic examination of her unit today.

Insp Hollands appealed for anyone with dashcam footage – on Mount Cotton Rd, the Gateway Motorway and on that route into Brisbane’s northside between 4.30am-7am on December 14 – to contact police.
