Motorbike rider fighting for life after colliding with car on a Centenary Hwy

A motorcyclist is fighting for life after a serious two-vehicle crash on a major highway southwest of Brisbane overnight.

The motorcyclist sustained serious head, arm and leg injuries.

A motorbike rider is fighting for life after a serious two-vehicle crash on a main highway in Brisbane’s south early Saturday morning.

Emergency services were called to the Centenary Highway near Ripley at about 2am after a car and motorbike collided near the Ripley Rd exit.

Paramedics assessed two people at the scene, including the motorbike rider who sustained serious head, arm and leg injuries.

He was taken in a critical condition to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

The driver of the car suffered minor injuries and was taken to Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition.
