Monster wave smashes whale-watching boat
Video footage has emerged showing the moment a huge wave crashed into a whale watching boat on the Gold Coast, leading to one passenger suffering a seizure.

A PERSON has had a seizure on a whale-watching boat after a monster wave smashed the vessel on the Gold Coast today.
Paramedics were called to meet a passenger who suffered a seizure on a Spirit of Gold Coast whale watching boat at Main Beach about 2.20pm.

Video footage from one of the passengers shows a huge wave appearing to crash at the front of the boat as cries are heard in the background.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said the person suffering the seizure was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital, while another patient suffered minor lacerations but did not require transport
