INVESTIGATORS will scour a home gutted by fire in Paddington overnight which took crews more than an hour to bring under control.
Five fire crews were called to the blaze on Fernberg Rd at 10.40pm, where they found a timber home well alight.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokeswoman said the fire was brought under control at 11.40pm.
Neighbours were awoken by the sound of loud bangs, and initial reports suggested multiple dwellings were on fire.
Police and ambulance crews attended the scene, however there were no reports of injuries and all occupants were safely evacuated.
Witnesses told The Courier-Mail they were woken by the sounds of loud bangs, only to find the building ablaze.
The spokeswoman confirmed that the Fire Investigation Unit will visit the home today.
