A man is in critical condition following a serious single-vehicle rollover east of Brisbane.
The man sustained critical injuries after his vehicle hit a tree at Birkdale early on Friday morning.
Paramedics treated the driver and sole patient at the scene of the crash near Charles St and Quarry Rd, Birkdale about 6.26am.
He was transported to Princess Alexandra hospital a short time later with critical head injuries.
There were no significant delays to local traffic from about 8am.
Police also attended the scene of the crash.
