Man seriously injured in motorbike mwy crash

A young man suffered serious head and leg injuries after crashing his motorbike on the Ipswich Motorway. It comes after a woman was left fighting for life after a Brisbane crash.

A young man was left seriously hurt after crashing his motorbike on the Ipswich Motorway Sunday morning.

The motorcyclist, aged in his 20s, was travelling on the Centenary Motorway southbound at 6.57am near the Ipswich Motorway off-ramp when the crash occurred.

Paramedics assessed the man for serious head and leg injuries before driving him to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious condition.

It comes after a woman was left in a critical condition when the motorbike she was riding crashed into a cement barrier in Eagle Farm, in Brisbane’s east, Saturday night.
