Man seriously injured after being hit by truck

A pedestrian has been seriously injured after being hit by a truck in a suburb in Brisbane’s inner south.

A man has been seriously injured in an incident involving a truck and pedestrian in a suburb in Brisbane’s inner south.

Paramedics were called to Cavendish Road in Coorparoo at 9.45am where the man, aged in his 50s, had suffered serious chest injuries.

He was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The High Acuity Response Unit also attended the incident.
