Man killed in Mount Perry truck crash

The 24-year-old sole occupant of a truck has died after it left the road and rolled into a ditch near Bundaberg.

A man has been killed in a truck crash at Mount Perry, southwest of Bundaberg, this morning.

Just before 9am, the 24-year-old, from Apple Tree Creek, was travelling along Swindon Rd when his truck left the roadway and rolled into a ditch.

The man was the sole occupant of the truck and he died at the scene.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing into the circumstances of the crash.
