Man in serious after car hits tree at Purga, west of Ipswich

A man has been rushed to hospital this morning in a serious condition following his car slamming into a tree in south east Queensland.

A man has been rushed to hospital this morning in a serious condition after the car he was driving hit a tree southwest of Ipswich this morning.

Emergency crews arrived on scene at Middle Rd, Purga, about 6.20am.

It’s reported the 40-year-old man was the only one in the car when it slammed into the tree and was trapped for a short while.

He was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition with leg and arm injuries.
