Man in critical condition after collision in Gatton
A 73-year-old man remains in a critical condition after suffering multiple traumatic injuries when he was hit by a sedan in the Lockyer Valley on Saturday night.

A 73-year-old man remains in hospital after he was hit by a car in Gatton on Saturday night.
Early investigations suggest the elderly man was crossing Old College Rd as he was hit by a Toyota Corolla vehicle at about 7.20pm.
The driver and believed sole occupant of the sedan, a 66-year-old man, is said to have rushed from his car to get nearby help.
The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight helicopter, paramedics (QAS) and police were soon after called to the scene to assist in the incident.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said the man’s condition was serious but stable at the scene.
The man’s condition then further deteriorated as he was taken by QAS to meet the LifeFlight Helicopter just after 7.30pm before he was flown to hospital with critical care onboard.

Police say the driver returned a negative drug and alcohol test.
The 73-year-old man remains at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical after suffering multiple traumatic injuries from the incident.
Anyone with dashcam vision or information of the incident is urged to contact police.
The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing investigations.
