A man has been fined after he crashed into a barrier before hitting another vehicle while driving on a major Brisbane motorway.
Confronting dashcam footage has emerged of the driver in a Volkswagen Golf merging into the left lane which had a solid line, and then quickly trying to merge again but instead hitting the barrier.
The car then rotates and the people in an another car who started beeping and captured the footage can be heard saying “Oh s***” and “what an idiot”.
The 21-year-old Toowong man had been travelling along the Centenary Motorway at Mount Coo-tha northbound towards the Legacy Tunnel on February 25.
He was fined $645 for careless driving.
