A man has been left in a critical condition after being assaulted on a popular nightclub strip in the Gold Coast.

A man is fighting for his life in hospital after an alleged assault on a popular nightclub strip
on the Gold Coast.
Police found the injured man just after 4am on the corner of Surfers Paradise Boulevard and Elkhorn Ave.
He was transported by paramedics to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition with a serious head injury.
Police are now speaking with another man who is assisting with investigations.
