Man feared dead after horror truck, car crash

A man has died at the scene of a horrific crash in central Queensland involving a truck and a car.

A man has died at the scene of a horrific crash involving a truck and car in central Queensland.

Just after 5am, emergency services were called to Fitzroy Developmental Rd in Mackenzie River, approximately 250km inland from Rockhampton.

One man, believed to be the driver of the vehicle, was assessed for critical injuries.

It’s understood he died at the scene.

Another person, with an injured arm, declined transport to hospital.
