A man has been rushed to hospital after falling four metres from a ship at the Port of Brisbane.

A man has been taken to hospital in a stable condition after a fall at the port of Brisbane.

A man has been rushed to hospital after falling four metres from a ship at the Port of Brisbane this morning.

Emergency crews arrived on the scene just before 10.30am.

The man, believed to have been working on a docked boat, reportedly fell four meters, sustaining back injuries.

He was taken to the Princess Alexandra hospital in a stable condition.
