Man critical after two vehicle car crash into power pole in Brisbane’s south

A man has been left in a critical condition after two vehicles collided in Brisbane’s southwest, with one impacting a power pole.

A man is in a critical condition following a car crash in Brisbane’s southwest that impacted a power pole and left a patient trapped in their vehicle.

The accident happened at the intersection of Inala Ave and Blunder Rd just before 5pm on Sunday.

Two cars collided, with one striking a power pole, trapping an occupant.

Three patients were later transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital, with one man in a critical condition with chest injuries.

The remaining two patients were transported in stable conditions.

It was not clear whether the critical patient was the person who had been trapped.
