Man critical after falling from electric skateboard

A 40-year-old man has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition after he fell from an electric skateboard in Brisbane’s north-west.

THE Forensic Crash Unit has been called into investigate after a man was found injured on a road in Brisbane’s north-west on Wednesday night.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Napean Ave, Arana Hills, about 7.15pm after reports of a man lying on the road.

It is believed the man had been riding an electric skateboard in the area before falling off and hitting his head.

The 40-year-old man was treated for injuries at the scene before being transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s hospital in critical condition.
