Man critical, another seriously hurt in car crashes
A man was left fighting for life and another suffered serious spinal injuries after two separate car crashes.

A man was waiting to be flown from the scene of a serious motorbike crash in Beelbee, northwest of Toowoomba, Sunday morning.
The crash happened around 8.24am on Beelbee Rd.
Paramedics were treating the man, aged in his 20s, who sustained serious spinal injuries.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the rescue helicopter was on the ground but it was not known when or where they would transport the man.
The cause of the crash is unknown.
Overnight, a man was left fighting for life after a car crashed into a tree in Far North Queensland.
The crash happened about 9.45pm Saturday on Coral Coast Drive at Palm Cove, in Cairns.
The man was taken to Cairns Hospital in a critical condition before being flown to Townsville University Hospital. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and police have asked for any witnesses to contact them.
