Man charged after ramming police cars, speeding on wrong side of the road
Police have released dramatic vision of a police chase in far north Queensland overnight in which a man crashed into two police cars and allegedly sped through intersections on the wrong side of the road. WATCH THE ARREST.

A MAN crashed into two police vehicles in a dramatic police chase overnight in Cairns in which he allegedly drove on the wrong side of the road and sped through intersections.
Searches today found the man was also in possession of unlawful guns, bullets and meth.
Cairns officers noticed a black Subaru Impreza sedan with fake registration plates driving at speed around 1.30am Sunday.

Police will allege the car then turn sharply into Ishmael Road in an attempt to avoid officers and speed away on the wrong side of Toogood Road.
The driver, a 29-year-old Mooroobool man, continued driving dangerously on the incorrect side of the road and speeding through intersections.
Police attempted to stop the sedan by deploying a tyre deflation device on Bicentennial Road in Mount Sheridan however the car continued to travel on one tyre and rims.
As the car entered the Bruce Highway from an on-ramp, the driver rammed the sedan into the rear of a marked police vehicle, causing extensive damage.
The car approached Sandown Close in Woree where it then sideswiped another unmarked police vehicle before crossing onto the incorrect side of the road and crashing through a fence.
The man was charged evade police, dangerous operation of motor vehicle, unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
Further investigations today, carried out by the Cairns Property Crime Unit, located guns and drugs.
He was charged with unlawful possession of Category A firearm, unlawful possession of explosives (Ammunition) and possession of dangerous drugs (Methylamphetamine).
The man has been refused police bail and will appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
