Man allegedly assaulted in Brisbane at Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley

Police are hunting for two men following a serious assault of another man in Fortitude Valley that left him with serious head injuries.

An Everton Park man was taken to hospital after being found with serious head injuries in the Valley.

A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after he was allegedly assaulted in Brisbane early Monday morning.

Emergency services were called to Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley about 4.30am with reports of a man being assaulted.

A 50-year-old man from Everton Park was found with serious head injuries and was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Police are hunting two men who were allegedly involved in the assault.

Initial investigations show a verbal altercation occurred between the three men, before the man was allegedly assaulted.

The two men fled the scene before police arrived.

Officers are investigating the incident and are appealing for anyone who may have information or relevant vision to come forward.
