Motorists have been urged to avoid certain roads and expect long delays as Queenslanders observe Labour Day in Brisbane’s CBD on Monday.

The 2023 Labour Day Parade will be held between 6am to 1pm and is expected to impact Wharf St, Turbot St, Brunswick St and Gregory Tce.

As of 6.45am, no major delays were reported.

Queensland Police Service have warned commuters as well as city workers to expect more roads to be closed due to the rolling nature of the Labour Day Marches.
