‘Maggot, scum’: Vandals target Brisbane office with vile messages
Police are investigating after vandals hit a Brisbane office of federal Opposition Leader Peter Dutton overnight.

Vandals have defaced one of federal Opposition Leader Peter Dutton’s electoral offices in Brisbane’s northern suburbs.
The graffiti was discovered on Friday morning at the Arana Hills office on Dawson Parade.
Black spray paint could be seen across the windows of Mr Duttons office, including the words “scum” and “maggot”.
This is the second time in six months Mr Dutton’s office has been targeted by vandals.
A man could be seen cleaning off the graffiti from the windows and walls of Mr Dutton’s office on Friday.
The Opposition Leader’s office has been contacted for comment.
Queensland Police are investigating a report of wilful damage and are urging witnesses to come forward with CCTV footage.
This comes as Victorian Liberal Party members have reported to police that campaign materials for Kooyong candidate Amelia Hamer were vandalised on April 12.
Hamer’s campaign material had been targeted in Malvern, Armadale and Toorak, with signs painted over and torn in half.
In November last year red and yellow paint was sprayed over every window with the bizarre call for the Albanese government to learn lessons from the recent US election.
“Hint: Dump Albo! Nobody f – king likes him,” the graffiti said.
Police said an investigation into that incident is ongoing.
