A WOMAN in her 20s was taken to hospital after a suspected snake bite in the Whitsundays.
Queensland Ambulance Service say the incident happened about 8.40pm last night.
The woman had been at a private address on Hamilton Island when she received a suspected snake bite to the leg.
Paramedics took her to Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition.
