Woman crashes car into tree off Peak Downs Highway, near Eton

Emergency services are responding to reports of a car leaving the road and crashing into the bush just off the Peak Downs Highway. READ THE LATEST.

Emergency services are on route to a crash scene on the Peak Downs Highway after a car left the road and hit trees.

The driver, reportedly a 60 year old woman, left the road just after 9am and has driven into the bush near the Spencer Gap state forest just off the Peak Downs Highway near Eton.

It is understood that she has sustained injuries to her arms, chest and is still currently conscious within the vehicle.
Paramedics, police and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services are currently en route to the scene.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed that a woman in her 60s was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
