AT ONLY seven years old, Mount Pleasant lad Reid Biggs skates the big bowl at the Mackay Sugar Bowl alongside those twice his age.
"I've been learning since I was six," Reid said.
To an adult, skating the bowl might look intimidating, but Reid said it was not scary.
"I just know that I can do it," he said.

The Sugar Bowl was jam-packed as kids of all ages hung out at the skate park with their skateboards, bikes, scooters and in-line skates.
Elsewhere, despite the overcast weather, families spent time together outdoors including at John Breen Memorial Park in North Mackay.
