Two men are being assessed after a two truck crash on Bruce Highway

Paramedics are assessing two men after two trucks collided on the Bruce Highway south of St Lawrence.

A police spokesman said the crash happened about 6.15am at the intersection of Olives Rd and the Bruce Highway near Granite Creek overflow bridge.

A Queensland Ambulance Services spokesman said one man had been assessed at the scene and declined to be taken to hospital.

The second man is still being assessed.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said crews were still responding, with two fire and rescue crews and one rural crew were attending.

The crash disrupted traffic flows on the Bruce Highway for about an hour but the road remained open.

Drivers are urged to proceed with caution.
