USING a Mackay region suburb as inspiration, you have just two hours to rewrite the lyrics to a popular tune.
Think you could do it?
That is the 'Suburban Song' challenge posed to Triple M Mackay's morning show co-host Dave Peters each week.
Fellow co-host of 10 years, Jay Shipton, said there was a "massive wheel" in the studio that dictated the suburb and song selection.

"Every Friday morning we do that and he has two hours to perform and record the song," Jay said.
Jay said listeners offered suggestions on what Dave should mention in the songs, but some of their audience suggested he source a back-up singer.
"He wrote me a couple of back-up lines to do," Jay laughed, "but (Dave's) the star of the segment … he actually wanted to be a rock star when he was a kid.
"He was told he just didn't have the voice for it."
Although Jay said he playfully teased Dave about his on-air performances, he did admit his co-star was doing a "good job".
Lyrics to Dave's latest 'Suburban Song' challenge entry to DMC's Walk this Way:
(There's a) placed called Glenella
Where there lives a little fella
Who goes by the name of Dave
Round the Northern Beaches is the other bugger Rural View you'll bump into Jay
The Forgan Bridge from the city
Pioneer River you won't miss
Heading to the harbour, catching up with your brother
Eating that fish and chips, it's bliss
If you're livin' Lambert's Beach it's a given you really don't have a care
You can go walkin', along the beach while you're talkin'
To your dog that looks and stares
BB Print Stadium 'carn' the Cutters they're hangin' out ready to play
But when you travel 'round, your indicator you can't be using now
Because it's the Mackay way
We love it here
A great day, Mackay way
Here to stay, and to play
(We love it here)
A great day, Mackay way
Here to stay, and to play
Living here is bliss
