A rescue chopper was called after four people, including a teenage girl, were injured in a crash involving two motorbikes and a car outside Mackay.
Police and paramedics were called to Kunapipi Rd in Laguna Quays, north of Midge Point at about 10.30am this morning to reports of two motorbikes colliding with a car.
A teenage girl has suffered minor leg injuries and was taken to Proserpine hospital in a stable condition while the other motorcyclist, a woman in her 40s, has suffered severe leg injuries and was flown to Mackay Base Hospital.
A woman in her 70s was also taken to Proserpine hospital with abdominal pain while a male in his 40s, believed to be the driver of the car, suffered minor hand injuries and refused transport.
Police had blocked off the road with traffic control in place.
